My driving license came through the letterbox this morning. I’m now trying to decide if it was worth it, you know if passing was worth it. I can’t decide if it’s better being able to drive alone (legally) and having a pink photo card, or being able to drive accompanied but having a green photo card. I think green goes better with the rest of my decor. Of course, we all know that driving license photo cards should in fact be purple. I had my first proper day at college today. I discovered that teenage girls are in fact on a mission. Their mission, that they obviously chose to accept, is to choke anyone within a two-mile radius with perfume. I'm wondering if maybe I should get myself some, perfume that is not teenage girls, just so I can join in and be in the 'popular' group. Perhaps the teenage girls at Farnham are actually terrorist, clever disguise I must say. I for one did not suspect, oh wait, I did. Better luck next time terrorist dudes.
Anyway, on to serious things *silence* *tumbleweed*
So, I'm the only girl in my computing class and one of the few girls in college that doesn't wear perfume, both of which I think I can play to my advantage. Soon Pinky we will take over the world. (Note - that may have been a quote from a small mouse). I know I've only had one day at college and it wasn't even a full day with proper lesson things BUT I think I will really enjoy it. I hope to at least and if I don't then I have some napalm in the garage that I can play with.
I also noticed that most of the people at my chosen college are clones of each other. These happen to be the people that all went to the same secondary school last year. Coincidence? Hell no.
"Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence.
Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent.
Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb.
Education will not; the world is full of educated failures.
Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent."
